Every other Archæan type, excluding the Protean, has a weak point for players to aim for to deal the maximum amount of damage per shot.
- Grunt: Players can shoot at the Grunt’s head to deal the most damage.
- Spiker: The Spiker’s head is its weak point.
- Breacher: The Breacher’s weak point is its back.
- Bloater: Players should aim for the Bloater’s back.
- Rooter: The Rooter’s weak point is the back of its head.
- Sower: Players should aim for the Sower’s stomach to deal maximum damage.
- Tormentor: A Tormentor’s head is its weak point.
- Smasher: Players can shoot a Smasher in the back to deal maximum damage.
- Lurker: A Lurker’s weak spot is its head, but players will need to wait until the protective layer around it opens up before they can exploit this weakness.
- Apex: An Apex’s weak point is its head.
- Protean: The Protean has no weak spots for players to aim for.
